Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is a 2-year paramedical course that trains students in the fundamentals of laboratory science, diagnostic techniques, and the handling of clinical equipment. It is ideal for those aspiring to work in diagnostic labs, hospitals, or research facilities.

Students learn about clinical biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, hematology, and blood banking, along with training in the use of lab instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, and spectrophotometers. The curriculum also includes practical skills like collecting, labeling, and analyzing blood, urine, and tissue samples.

To be eligible, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board. Some institutions may require a minimum percentage or conduct an entrance test.
